The Gelert Twister 3 Man Tent
- The outer flysheet is a reasonably thick 190Tog manufactured from polyester that has a waterproof PU coating to ensure you remain dry, even in inclement weather conditions.
- The inner tent of the Gelert Twister is again 190 Tog thickness and also has a fully aterproof PU coating.
- The outer dimensions are a sizeable 460cm in length, 220cm in width and a tall 130 cm in height affording plenty of room for 3 people whilst remaining compact enough for easy transportation with you, whether that is in a car or in your backpack.
- The inner tent measures in at a very large 200cm length by 220cm wide and height at 130 cm. With this sort of internal space, you know the 3 man Gelert Twister has ample room for 3 people to sleep comfortably.
- The three poles included in the package are made from 8.5mm fibreglass which means they are not only extremely lightweight, but also very tough and durable, meaning they will be easy to carry but will last many a camping adventure.
- The taped seams are a must for a fully waterproof tent and give this 3 man tent

“Negatives first: Twisting the tent back into the bag took a couple of goes to master and even as a 15 stone chubbster I found it hard to press down the tent with my body weight to squeeze it into the right shape to go in the bag. It looks like it’s putting a lot of strain on the case and I wonder how long the stitching will last.
However those are the only negatives…
Positives: Superb value, mega mega easy to put up (even in the rain, at midnight, after getting lost for 2 hours on the way to the campsite!). We had the tent up in 10 minutes. It rained all weekend and the tent stayed dry inside. Loads of room inside and the groundsheet was up to the job, even with soaking wet grass. Very comfortable for 2 adults, not sure about 3 though.
Conclusion: This is a superb bit of gear.”
